# HyperFormula

> HyperFormula is a headless, open-source spreadsheet calculation engine for TypeScript and JavaScript. It evaluates Excel-compatible formulas deterministically and runs in both the browser and Node.js, with no UI included.

HyperFormula is maintained by Handsoncode, the team behind Handsontable. It is used as the calculation engine inside data grids, business applications, financial models, and AI-powered apps that need reliable, repeatable spreadsheet semantics.
